CQI-28 Traceablity Guideline

Significance and Application of the CQI-28 Guideline

The North American automotive association AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) is publisher of the CQI-28 guideline. The CQI-28 describes the requirements of implementing a robust traceability system.

As a long standing member of the AIAG, TopQM-Systems already specialized early on in the introduction, development and qualification of employees according to the content of CQI-28 and its transfer of knowledge, including methods of „best practice“.

The main elements of the CQI-28 Guideline are divided into the following sections:

1.    TRACEABLITY OVERVIEW
2.    REQUIREMENTS IN IATF 16949
3.    CUSTOMER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS  FOR TRACEABLITY
4.    ELEMENTS OF A ROBUST TRACEABILITY SYSTEM
5.    TRACEABLITY SCENARIO BEST PRACTICES
6.    TRACEABLITY SYSTEM RESOURCES
